The BBC have announced that they will not be commissioning a third season of the post apocalyptic sci fi show Survivors.
The show, which is a remake of the 70s series created by Doctor Who writer Terry Nation has suffered from a slip in ratings during it’s second season which ended in February. The BBC say that despite ratings of over four million viewers they weren’t prepared to risk shelling out on a third season.
The cast and production crew are reported to be seriously cheesed off.
