Woman Claims To Be Impregnated By Dolphin

A woman in Peru claims she has been made pregnant by a Pink River Dolphin.

28 year old Reyna Yumbato Huamán travelled to the Loreto Regional Hospital complaining of a troubled pregnancy. She told doctors that unlike her previous pregnancies which were all trouble free her latest pregnancy was causing her intense pain and she would dream about Pink River Dolphins, or bufeo all night long.

According to Amazonian legend the freshwater river dolphins found in the waterways of South America can transform into handsome young men at night and seduce young girls, impregnating them before returning to the rivers. Some believe this shapeshifter legend began because of the similarities between dolphin and human reproductive glands.

Beder Camacho, a gynecologist at Loreto Regional Hospital said that Huamán had received treatment and is now fine. He also said that the bufeo legend is clinically impossible.
