Man Arrested For Eating Child’s Brains

A man in Southwest China’s Yunnan Province has been arrested for allegedly murdering two children and eating their brains.
29 year old Wang Zhaoxu is accused of murdering a three year old girl and an 11 year old boy in January. Witnesses say they saw Wang crouching over the corpse of the 11 year old victim in a field in the village of Qixian, Wang is reported to have pretended that the boy was simply unconscious and attempted to wake him.
Wang was arrested and later that day the body of a three year old girl was also discovered, both victims had their skulls opened and their brains removed.
Following his arrest Wang told police that he had eaten the victim’s brains mixed with earthworms, in the belief that it would cure his epilepsy. Wang got the idea from an old wives tale.
Wang’s brother in law told reporters that Wang suffered from terrible seizures and uncontrollable spasms.
“He once jerked 13 times a day,” his brother-in-law said.
