Toojay's World Class Corned Beef Eating ChampionshipSome of competitive eating’s biggest names took part in the TooJay’s World Class Corned Beef Eating Championship held today in Florida.

The International Federation of Competitive Eating’s top ranked eater Joey Chestnut proved once more why he’s number one by storming through 15.5 corned beef sandwiches to take first place. Each sandwich was made with rye bread and weighed 8oz, contestants had ten minutes to demolish as many sandwiches as possible.

Chestnut walked away with a full stomach and the $5,000 first prize money, second place went to Pat Bertoletti who won two grand by chomping through 12.5 sandwiches. Bob Shoudt took third position with 11.5 sarnies and Sonya “The Black Widow” Thomas came fourth with a respectable 10.5 butties under her belt.
