Woman Killed In Suspected Wolf Mauling

32 year old Candice Berner from Chignik Lake, Alaska was discovered lying dead in a pool of blood this week, her corpse was surrounded by wolf tracks.

Mrs Berner, a school teacher at the remote village 500 miles southwest of Anchorage was discovered by snowmobile riders on Monday. her body was badly mauled and mutilated, the State Medical Examiner released details today stating that the cause of death was due to multiple injuries caused by animal mauling.

Local residents have reported recent wolf sightings, but wolf attacks are extremely rare. If a wolf is found to be the culprit this will be the first wolf attack fatality in the US for fifty years.
