Star Trek Hottie Joins Conan Cast

Rachel Nichols who played Gaila, the sexy, green-skinned alien in J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek has been cast as the female lead in the forthcoming Conan remake.

Nichols will play Tamara, a female warrior who teams up with Conan to defeat the movie’s villain. As well as playing the scantily clad Orion in Star Trek, Nichols has also previously appeared in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra as Scarlett and also played Rachel Gibson in TV’s Alias.

Stargate: Atlantis actor Jason Momoa has been cast in the title role. Filming is due to begin this month and a 2011 release date is expected.
