Trial Begins For Satanist Cannibals

The trial has begun for the eight teenage satanists who murdered and ate four of their friends in 2008.

The gang of devil worshipers hung out on wasteland in Yaroslavl, Russia where they consumed booze, erected inverted crosses and made animal sacrifices to the Lord Beelzebub. But the animal sacrifices mustn’t have been enough for the bloodthirsty young goths as they soon turned their attention to human ritualistic murder.

The court heard today that during the nights between June 28 and June 30 of 2008 the young satanists began initiating new members into their sect, during these initiations youngsters were murdered in couples. Investigators claim that on the first night Ksenia Kovaleva was initiated into the satanic cult, during the ceremony 15 year old Anna Gorokhova and 16 year old Olga Pukhova were both put to death with a knife. The following night saw the initiation of Alexei Solovyev, this time two 16 year olds, Varvara Kuzmina and Andrey Sorokin were murdered in the same way.

The court heard how on both nights the teenage victims were lured to their deaths by the gang of satanists, plied with booze and stabbed with a knife 666 times each. The bodies were then butchered and burned, the murderers cooked and ate the victims hearts.

Kovaleva and Sorokin both stand trial for the murders as do five other members of the cult, Alexei Chistyakov, Konstantin Baranov, Nikolai Ogolobyak, Alexander Voronov and Sergey Karpenko. A sixth cult member, Anton Makovkin was diagnosed as schizophrenic and is being detained in a mental institution.
