Dry Gulch ChupacabrasJeremy Scheffel from Oklahoma has captured a bizarre, hairless unidentified animal which locals are calling the ‘Dry Gulch Chupacabras’.

As you can see from the photos, the animal definitely fits the description of previous goat sucker sightings, most of which are dismissed as coyotes with mange. Well this time the ‘experts’ reckon it’s a raccoon with mange. But with no conclusive evidence yet the story sweeping the internet is that it’s a real life chupacabras.

Scheffel decided to lay traps for the beast after he spotted it on his back porch a few weeks ago. Disappointingly there have been no goat or chicken carcasses discovered sucked dry of blood, but the bald creature was spotted by several other residents. Scheffel decided to get to the bottom of the mystery and within hours of setting his traps he bagged himself a living, breathing hairless thing. The animal has been sent to the Wild Heart Ranch Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation in Claremore, where the animal has been preliminarily identified as a bald coon.

  3. I have a raccoon. I live in Oklahoma. The front and back paws are EXACLTY the same on this animal….the teeth, the eyes, the ears, and the length of the tail, and the sounds that it makes…it’s the same, it is a RACCOON!
