A British company have developed a toilet paper which is impregnated with phosphor so it glows when the lights are out.
The luminous bog roll is the brainchild of Daniel Blackman, who works in product development for bizarre gift company Thumbs Up. Blackman came up with the idea of using phosphors in the manufacture of the loo paper, the chemical glows after being exposed to light for some time.
Why glow in the dark toilet roll you might ask, well the simple benefit is you can easily wipe your backside whilst sat in the dark. This might come in handy for people who are really that keen on saving the environment that they don’t like to switch their bathroom light on, in fact come to think of it the glowing poo paper could well benefit people who use those God awful energy saving light bulbs that take a dog’s age to light up properly.
However, a much more practical use would be for campers and festival goers. No more fumbling around in a dark tent when you need to take that late night trip to the long drops. And you don’t need to worry about dropping your bum wipes in a pitch black campsite and not being able to find them again.
The bog paper is available at Iwantoneofthose.com, priced at £4.99 a roll. But three lucky Morningstarr* readers can bag a roll completely free by just entering our little competition.
If you’d like to win a free glow in the dark bog roll just pop along to our Facebook page and become a fan. Once we have 200 fans three will be chosen at random to receive their prize.

They should make glow in the dark dog poo so we can avoid stepping in it when out walking

Novel idea, but i’d rather they force feed dog shit to owners that don’t pick up their dogs doings.
