Hayden Panettiere threatens to release album

With Heroes struggling with poor ratings, and the rumours flying around again that the show will not return after it finishes it’s latest season on NBC this week, Hayden Panettiere may have enough time on her hands to complete the album she’s been working on for the past three years.

The Heroes hottie, who plays sexy cheerleader Claire Bennet in the superhero show, has recently revealed that she’s keen to concentrate on her music career. Some of you may be unfortunate enough to have heard Hayden’s 2008 single ‘Wake Up Call‘, for those of you who were lucky enough to miss it I’ve posted the video below. Feel free to turn the volume down whilst watching it.

“I’d like to focus on music. I’ve been singing for almost as long as I’ve been acting and I love it. It’s just a different way of expressing myself and getting to be me, not having to play anyone else.” Hayden told Now Magazine.

What better excuse do NBC need to commission a fifth season of Heroes?
