Piping The Truth Into Your Brainballs!
Story published on January 24, 2010
Superhero movie Push was released last February to rather tepid reviews. The blatantly Heroes inspired action film tells the rather complex tale of a group of beautiful young people, their superhuman, paranormal powers and a battle against a secret Government organisation.
Actually, that sounds an awful lot like Heroes.
The film didn’t do remarkably well at the box office, but it did end with an opening for a possible sequel. The sequel it seems will not be happening, but Summit Entertainment are now developing the concept into a TV show. In light of the poor ratings recently for Heroes, this also seems like a very odd decision but Summit Entertainment must have a lot of faith in the idea as they’ve recruited X-Men and Watchmen screenwriter David Hayter to write to pilot.
