Wheelie Bin Urinal

An enterprising young inventor has come up with an ingenious idea to help combat the antisocial behaviour of certain drunken misfits and beer users.

Stephan Bischof has created a new type of wheelie bin which also incorporates a urinal, the bin has a funnel on the side for people to deposit their urine which then flows into a special compartment in the base of the bin where the piss is transformed into bio-fertiliser. The secret compartment would be loaded with grass cuttings or wood ash to absorb the wee-wee and hold in it’s valuable nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium.

The design came about when Mr Bischof set himself the task of inventing items to help reduce antisocial or illegal behaviour, during his initial research using a wheelie bin with a street cone jammed in the side Mr Bischof recorded hours of CCTV footage of drunken buffoons peeing in his wheelie bin. The tests were a resounding success, given the option of urinating into a wheelie bin your average drunk will comply and thus keep the streets and pavements piss free.

“It’s a bit of a weird solution,” said Mr Bischof.

“My intentions were not to destroy the primary functions of the wheelie bin so therefore it can still be used as a bin.”

“It wouldn’t be better than a proper public toilet but because there are so many (wheelie bins) close it is like an emergency solution.”
