TosserJohn Young from Louisville, Kentucky has tossed himself into the Guinness Book of World Records this week by flipping a pancake a tremendous 27 feet in the air and catching it again in a frying pan.

The accomplished tosser uses a two handed technique to hurl his pancakes to remarkable heights, here he describes his tossing action.

“I just take it two-handed between the legs and go straight up” Young told KSDK News.

The record breaking event was all in aid of Young’s friend Ryan Clausing, who is paralyzed from the chest down. Spectators were charged $5 each to eat as many pancakes as they liked during the event, with all proceeds going to Ryan and his family. Young said he simply wanted Ryan and his family to have a merry Christmas.

And this isn’t the first time Young has set the world record, back in May he held the record for a mere 45 minutes. Shortly after Young broke the record at an event in Kansas another tosser went right ahead and beat it.
