Arcade FireArcade Fire’s as yet untitled third studio album is almost completed and should be released in May 2010.

This will be the first release from the band since 2007′s Neon Bible and is described by producer Markus Dravs as “better”. Neon Bible did leave some fans disappointed, many complained it wasn’t a good enough follow up to the band’s debut album Funeral but sales figures didn’t necessarily back up those remarks.

A single from the album will be released early next year and there is already talk of a spring tour and possible headlining slots at the summer festivals. With any luck the album will be released promptly in time for Arcade Fire to confirm a summer tour of the UK and hopefully an appearance at the Glastonbury Festival in June.
