Naoko Mori will play Yoko Ono in Lennon Biopic

Torchwood star Naoko Mori who played Toshiko “Tosh” Sato in the show has been lined up to play Yoko Ono in a forthcoming biopic entitled Lennon Naked.

The film is being produced by BBC Four and will focus on the period in Lennon’s life where his first marriage falls apart and Yoko Ono comes into his life. All this of course happening at the time The Beatles also come to an end.

Mori left Torchwood in 2008 when her character was criminally killed off by the writers.

Joining Mori in Lennon Naked playing the title role will be Christopher Eccleston who was once a Doctor Who.
