Guinness World of Records announced this week the new holder of world’s tallest dog title. The previous record holder, Gibson sadly died in August, Gibson measured an impressive 42.4 inches to the shoulder.

But this week new title holder Titan was examined by Guinness officials and was named the World’s Tallest dog at 42.25 inches.

Titan is four years old and from San Diego. The poor fella is blind and deaf, suffers from epilepsy and undergoes regular sessions of acupuncture therapy for his many ailments. Owner Diana Taylor says despite his medical conditions Titan has a wonderful demeanour and is a superb pet.
