Man Bites Snake

An angry gardener in India took revenge on a snake which bit him by biting the snake back.

25 year old Ramesh Kumar Jamda works as a gardener in a government managed park on Orissa. Whilst doing a spot of weeding Ramesh was bitten on the hand by a serpent of some description. The furious gardener lunged at the reptile and caught hold of it, then he simply sunk his teeth into the snake and tore a mouthful of flesh off the writhing creature and actually swallowed the meat.

“I was very angry when the snake bit me on my finger. I chewed parts of its body to take revenge,” Ramesh told local press.

The snake died from it’s injuries, and Ramesh fell unconscious. His colleagues managed to get him to a nearby hospital where he received treatment for his wound, he is expected to make a full recovery.
