Dahmer vs. Gacy

Every once in a while a movie comes along which is so ridiculous you just have to watch it, I’d definitely put Dahmer vs. Gacy in that category.

After some bright spark came up with the idea of a Freddy vs. Jason, Aliens vs. Predator, Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus etc… some people clearly found inspiration but wanted to come up with an even better clash of the evil titans. That’s where Angry Baby Monkey Pictures come in, Dahmer vs. Gacy is their brainchild, and what a sick little monkey it is.

Obviously you can’t make a film about two dead historical figures battling against each other without some sort of explanation, well I suppose you could but Angry Baby Monkey have offered an explanation of sorts. A secret government lab is trying to genetically engineer the ultimate killer by experimenting with the DNA of infamous serial killers, when the clones of Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy escape. A shotgun totting, whiskey swilling redneck is sent after the killers to recapture them.

What follows looks like a good hour of random bloody violence, pure black comedy and some ninjas. What more could you possibly want.

Things to look out for are a special star performance by Ethan Phillips of Star Trek: Voyager fame and also an appearance by Guns N’ Roses guitarist Steven Adler. The whole thing seems to be in incredibly poor taste, and director and star of the film Ford Austin promises it’s just the first in a series of five Grindhouse style films he plans on making with Angry Baby Monkey. Excellent.
