Epic Snake Battle

A 60 year old woman in China fought for 30 minutes with a snake she found in her wardrobe, eventually killing the reptile.

The woman, named as Ye was alone in her home when she discovered the metre long serpent coiled up in her wardrobe. She immediately began bashing it with a wooden stick and suffered several bites in the skirmish.

After a lengthy struggle Ye finally defeated the snake, killing it with a vicious blow from the rod. She then raced to hospital to have her wounds treated where medics confirmed the snake was non-venomous and harmless.
