Movie tough guy Bruce Willis has been confirmed to star in a forthcoming movie adaptation of the video game Kane & Lynch.
The video game boasts being a “new breed of action” where a flawed mercenary and a psychopath join forces in a brutal tale of hate, loss and revenge. This will be interpreted onto the big screen with Willis’ character Adam ‘Kane’ Marcus being bust out of prison along with his new found friend James Seth Lynch by Kane’s former criminal employers who he apparently owes money, violence will then clearly ensue.
The screenplay has been written by Kyle Ward, who is currently working on a script for another video game crossover Hitman II. Willis reckons the script is one of the best action movie scripts he’s ever read, and he’s read a few.
Shooting doesn’t begin until next March and there’s no word on who will play the psychotic Lynch, but Billy Bob Thornton’s name has been dropped a few times in the past.
