James Tait
During a rigorous session with an Arabian stallion Pinyan suffered a perforated colon and died from his injuries. After a full police investigation it was determined that the horse had not suffered so no animal cruelty case was put forward, and bestiality was not illegal at that time. Tait was charged with trespassing though, as the horse was on someone else’s property. The case led to a change of law in Washington State which now means that bestiality, and recording bestiality is a crime punishable with up to five years in prison.
Tait now lives in Maury County, Tennessee and was arrested this week following a tip off to the police. Both Tait and another man, 44 year old Kenny Thomason face animal cruelty charges after police found photographs of Tait engaging in sexual intercourse with horses. Police say that Thomason was the owner of the farm the men were living at and he had allowed the abuse to take place.
Police found several horses, Shetland ponies and dogs at the farm and they strongly suspect that all the animals were being used for sex by Tait and other bestiality aficionados he has connections with.
