Deaf and Mute Sex Attacker

31 year old Marc Lecuyer from Ottawa appeared in court yesterday charged with his sixth sexual assault. The prosecution are calling for a dangerous offenders designation for Lecuyer who is deaf and mute.

The court heard that Lecuyer followed a woman from his apartment complex into the laundry room on 24th February this year. CCTV cameras caught footage of Lecuyer following the woman into the room wearing only a pair of underpants, with his penis hanging out of them.

When the woman caught sight of Lecuyer and his exposed penis Lecuyer pointed at his tallywhacker and began making grunting noises and making humping motions with his hips. The woman reacted by raising her hand, shaking her head and shouting “no” at the deaf man. Lecuyer raised his hands, but as soon as the woman turned round he grabbed her crotch from behind. The victim managed to beat Lecuyer off.

Shortly after the attack Lecuyer posted a letter under the victim’s apartment door, the letter was addressed “Dear You” in block capitals and went on to firstly apologise for the sexual assault and request that the victim didn’t contact the police. The letter then continued as Lecuyer described in crude language what sexual acts he would like to do to the woman. The victim then called the police.

Lecuyer also wrote to his social worker complaining that he was frustrated because he had no money, no girlfriend, was suffering from scabies and didn’t like where he lived. The court was informed that Lecuyer suffers from an unspecified psychiatric illness and had been skipping his medication.
