Woman Eats Ex-Boyfriend’s Goldfish

A woman in Pasadena stole seven of her ex-boyfriend’s goldfish after an argument, fried them up and ate them.

The couple had split up and were quarreling over property, the boyfriend took back a selection of jewelery he had previously bought the woman and refused to hand it over to her.

Out of spite the woman stole seven of the man’s goldfish and took them to her home. The police were called and went to the woman’s apartment to investigate. When officers arrived the woman led them into the kitchen where she told them the fish were. The police officers found three goldfish fried and served on a plate, when they enquired where the other four fish were the woman informed them she had already eaten them.

Vance Mitchell a Pasadena Police Department spokesman told the Houston Chronicle that the fish were considered community property and no crime had been committed.
