Corpse Hoarder Recieves Sentence

61 year old Penelope Sharon Jordan from Florida has been jailed for a year and a day by a Miami court today for keeping her dead mother’s corpse hidden in her home for six years.

Jordan kept the rotting corpse of Timmie Jordan in her spare room for six years, concealing her death from the authorities so she could continue to claim her mother’s social security and pension payments. Cops discovered the decaying cadaver in March when they were called to the property to investigate a case of nuisance cats.

On top of the prison sentence Jordan has been ordered to repay the government $237,876.
