A selection of new posters have been published to promote the forthcoming adaptation of the classic children’s book Where The Wild Things Are by Spike Jonze.
The posters show a selection of the marvelous monsters which feature in the story and are voiced by the likes of James Gandolfini from the Sopranos and Alice Parkinson from X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The classic children’s book tells the story of Max who dreams up a whole imaginary world where he becomes the King of all Wild Things.
Spike Jonze has previously delivered the fantastic Being John Malkovich as well as countless excellent music videos for the likes of Björk, The Breeders, Dinosaur Jr, Fatboy Slim and of course the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Jonze is currently dating Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, who also appears on the soundtrack to the film.
Where The Wild Things Are will be released in the UK on 11th December 2009, till then check out the trailer and gallery below.
