Flying Deer Kills Little Boy

In a bizarre, freak accident on Tuesday a six year old boy was killed when a deer was catapulted through the air and crushed the vehicle he was travelling in.

The accident took place on State Highway 18 in Oklahoma, six year old Jacob Wilson was heading to school along with his two brothers aged six and nine in the family SUV driven by his step mother 20-year-old Rachel Nicole King. King spotted the deer in the road and stopped, but a car heading the opposite direction ploughed straight into the beast and sent it hurtling through the air.

The deer crashed on top of King’s Chevrolet Silverado and crushed the cab. King suffered an injury to her arm, but young Jacob suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival when he reached hospital.

Jacob’s two brother’s were unhurt in the crash, and the driver of the vehicle which hit the deer was also unharmed.
