Tragedy Strikes Virginia Tech Once More

Virginia Tech is rapidly becoming the most dangerous campus since Sunnydale High. The university shot to notoriety in 2007 following the murders of 32 people when lunatic Seung-Hui Cho went on a gun rampage across the campus.

Then in January this year Haiyang Zhu, a Chinese national studying at Virginia, murdered fellow Chinese student Xin Yang by violently beheading her in a busy campus cafe.

Now tragedy has struck the university once more as the bodies of two sophomore students have been discovered at a bloody scene of carnage. The bodies of 19 year old David Lee Metzler and 18 year old Heidi Lynn Childs were found Thursday morning by a man walking his dog at Caldwell Fields campsite, a popular hangout spot for Tech students.

Both victims were shot at close range, but police have not yet determined the type of firearm or have a suspect.

Metzler was found dead inside the car, in the driver’s seat. Childs was outside the car lying on the ground. Police believe the pair were killed sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning by an intruder. No shit Sherlock.
