Summer Glau Confirmed For Dollhouse

The news Joss Whedon fans have been waiting for was announced yesterday. Dollverse say that TV network Fox have confirmed that the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles actress will be appearing in at least two episodes of Dollhouse during season two.

Summer Glau is a big name in the world of Joss Whedon, she previously played River in the Whedon show Firefly and it’s spin-off movie Serenity. Whedon told fans back in May that he was keen to get Summer on board for the next season of Dollhouse, but he warned fans that she would not be playing a “Doll” as the actress has had her fair share of being cast as a brainless, emotionless character.

Dollverse say that Summer will be playing the part of Bennett, a character working inside the Dollhouse. That is all that is known at this point, Bennett could be a new handler, doctor or even another FBI agent on the inside. Watch this space for more details.
