Man Walks On 18 Miles Of Broken Glass

56 year old Yorkshireman Nigel Jardine has smashed two world records for walking barefoot on broken glass.

Jardine, a motivational expert from Leeds has broken a previous world record by walking 1,060 metres barefoot on glass in under an hour. The previous record was set at 960 metres.

But Jardine didn’t stop there, he continued walking around the octagonal circuit for a whopping 27 and a half hours clocking up a staggering 18 miles on broken glass.

The record breaking event was organised by Jardine in aid of Action for Children, and was held at his local curry house the Bageecha Indian Restaurant in Horsforth. Diners were witness to part of Jardine’s record breaking feat as they chowed down on chicken tikka massala’s and popadoms.
