Mutilating Mum Given 99 Years

Katherine Nadal was handed a 99 year prison sentence earlier today for emasculating her five week old son in 2007.

Nadal was found guilty on Friday of cutting the genitals off her young son Holden Gothia back in March 2007. The jury decided that Nadal had seriously mutilated her son whilst under the influence of drugs and then blamed the injuries on the family’s pet dog, a miniature dachshund named Shorty.

Jurors spent two hours deliberating and came back with the hefty 99 year sentence, plus a £6,000 fine. Nadal will not be eligible for parole until she has served at least 30 years in the big house.

Little Holden, now two years old lives with his aunt Patches DeShazo. She is the sister of Holden’s father, Camden Gothia. After the sentencing was read out a victim impact statement to the courtroom.

“I am thankful by time you are eligible for parole you will be beyond childbearing years. It makes me crazy to this very day to hear you say I did not hurt him,”

When she heard this Nadal cried out from the dock, still denying her guilt.

“I failed him. I did not hurt him.” she said.

This was followed by a further outburst, Holden’s father Camden Gothia shouted back at Nadal before storming out of the courtroom.

“You abused him when he was in the womb,” he told Nadal. This was in reference to Nadal taking drugs whilst pregnant with Holden.
