Dresden Dolls Getting Back Together In 2010

The Dresden DollsThe Dresden Dolls singer Amanda Palmer has revealed that the band intend reuniting next year for a string of live dates.

The band’s last studio recording, Yes, Virginia came out in 2006 and after an extensive tour the band announced they were taking a break. Palmer released her own solo material, Who Killed Amanda Palmer?, drummer Brian Viglione has been working with Nine Inch Nails and is currently a member of The World/Inferno Friendship Society.

Palmer has now told Life Music that the band intend getting together to tour next year. When asked if she intends doing more live shows with the Dresden Dolls she replied “Yes, not sure when and where. We are planning dates for 2010.
We miss playing with each other.”
