What better way is there to remember a deceased loved one than having a disturbing disembodied likeness of them sat on your mantlepiece gawking at you? Well the good people at Cremation Solutions have come up with these breathtaking urns which not only resemble your dead friend or relative, they even contain their remains.

The Personal Urns are produced using the latest technology which scans photographs and creates a 3D replica of the recently deceased’s fizzog. The urns come in two sizes, a full scale replica of your loved one’s head which will hold all their ashes or you can just have a quarter sized replica which only holds part of their ashes and will give your home a real Amazonian shrunken head feel.

Cremation Solutions boast that their state of the art technology has amazing attention to detail and can be used to create urns which share a likeness with practically anyone, they even suggest getting an urn made which looks like the deceased’s favourite celebrity. There is a tradition which has sprung up in the UK of people being buried or cremated in their favourite football team colours, now they can have their remains preserved forever in a lifelike bust of their favourite player. With the fairly recent Doctor Who themed funeral in mind, how cool would it have been if the ashes were now stored in a lifelike David Tennant or Tom Baker head?
