Lonely Cannibal Looking For Love

An Indonesian cannibal is hoping his former community can learn to love him when he rejoins them.

Sumanto was jailed for digging up a decomposing old woman to eat her decaying flesh, he thought the corpse would make a cheap and easy nutritious meal.

“She was delicious” he told reporters at the mental hospice he is currently living at.

“I love meat… all types of meat as long as it’s cooked. But I don’t eat people anymore.”

The former farmer insists he now only dines on Popeye’s favourite, spinach. And he’s hoping that his old neighbours can accept him into their hearts when he returns home in the near future.

“What is love? How can I describe it when I’ve never experienced it, never tasted it?” he said.

“I’m sad. People said so many bad things about me. I will strive to get the villagers to open their hearts and accept me again,”

She was delicious

But the Australian News report that his old neighbours don’t seem all that keen. Sumanto’s next door neighbour had this to say on the matter:

“Sumanto? That corpse-eater. He was a bad-tempered man who often stole our rice and chickens,” she said.

She said she would never forget the stench of death and the sight of a bowl of whitish-yellow human flesh drenched in soy sauce.

“There’ll be chaos if he ever comes back. I don’t want him to kill me and have me for dinner.”
