World's biggest cupcakeJodiLee Knops, pastry chef at Cakes.com proudly shows off the World’s Largest Cupcake at the Mall of America in Minneapolis yesterday.

The huge cake weighs over 150 pounds is a foot high and has a two foot diameter, and jammed with 15 pounds of fudge filling and 60 pounds of yellow icing. The cake should be enough to satisfy 1,500 people, or 1,000 greedy buggers.

Guinness World Records representative Danny Girton, Jr was at the mall to verify the cake which will now be included in next year’s edition.

The cake was baked as part of a SpongeBob SquarePants 10th anniversary celebration.
