Man’s Prosthetic Legs Stolen

Two teenage delinquents broke into a Chicago man’s room and stole his prosthetic legs in the early hours of this morning.

66 year old Willbert Weeks was lying in bed watching the Discovery Channel at around 12:20 this morning when the two thieves burst into his room and bashed him over the head with a black handgun. After assaulting him the pair of robbers undid his prosthetic limbs and simply ran off with them.

“They hit me in the head with a pistol, snatched my legs and ran out,” Willbert told police.

Fortunately a friend of Willbert’s found the fake limbs in an alley close to his home later that morning. Willbert is planning to spend a few days with relatives until the matter is sorted. The police have not made any arrests and are still investigating this bizarre crime.

The programme Willbert was watching was about volcanoes.
