Man Decapitated By Train

Just after 18:00hrs yesterday evening a man jumped in front of an oncoming train at Wimbledon train station.

In what appears to be a grisly suicide the yet unnamed man threw himself in front of an express train heading for Poole. His dismembered body was strewn across the station platform in front of several shocked and disturbed witnesses.

The Wimbledon Guardian reports that blood and body parts were splashed across the platform as people waited for their trains to arrive. Distressed witnesses called the emergency services who found bloody body parts scattered around the area.

The train was halted and a coroner called to investigate. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
