Hellboy Perlman Joins Zombie Cast

Hellboy star Ron Perlman will be joining Back to the Future’s Lea Thompson and Beverly Hills Cop’s Judge Reinhold in a brand new zombie thriller who’s makers are comparing to Shaun of the Dead.

Gatekeeper has no release date as yet but shooting is set to commence in September, producer Stephen Emery has promised that it will be an American Shaun of the Dead. Three friends are left to defend their town from a plague of zombies following a “simple mistake”. The movie will be written and directed by Day of the Dead (2008) assistant director Isaac Meisenheimer.
