Heroes Season 4 Details

Speculation over the content of the next season of Heroes has been buzzing around the internet.

Practically everyone is banging on about the “Carnivale” storyline. The belief is that when the show returns this autumn it will be following a similar formula to HBO’s hit show from 2003, Carnivale. The basic premise is two sets of characters who depict the battle between good and evil whilst raising issues about freewill and destiny.

“The next season of Heroes has a lot of characters that are coming in,” Heroes star Hayden Panettiere told MTV News. “There’s something called The Carnival… which is kind of the opposite of what The Company was. There’s a lot of new, cool characters.”

That sounds to me more like the X-Men where Magneto groups together mutants to stop their persecution by humanity. So, although the story arc may be quite unoriginal the characters should be new and exciting. But just in case they’re not exciting enough the writers are supposedly bringing in a lesbian love interest for the hot, indestructible cheerleader played by Hayden Panettiere.

The rumoured lesbian affair is said to be with new cast member Rachel Melvin who will be playing the part of Hayden’s college roommate in the show.

According to Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello, there’s some truth to rumour.

“I’m not sure about a full-blown relationship, but I can confirm that the college roomies will engage in a little sapphic experimentation. At least that’s the plan,” Ausiello revealed.
