God Botherers Crucify Teenager

Four members of the Celestial Church of Christ in French Guiana, S. America have been jailed for up to 12 years for “wilful violence that caused death”.

15 year old Roger Bosse suffered from epilepsy. His mother took him to the church for help and they told her he was possessed by demons. In an attempt to exorcise the poor boy they repeatedly beat him with with leather belts over a three day period.

For the last two days of the boy’s life he was strung up on a cross and beaten mercilessly as part of the exorcism ritual. The crucifixion led to the boys death, he slowly suffocated.
