A farm worker who was once seriously injured by a bull was this week attacked a second time by a cow.

46 year old Mike Scriven was walking across a field on the Dyrham Park estate near Bristol when he realised the cow was stalking him. He began to run from the cow but unfortunately slipped on a cow pat and fell. The cow then sat on him for a full hour until he managed to break free.

Mr Scriven told the Metro that he only managed to get the beast off him by gouging it’s eyes.

“I really thought my time was up,” he said.

In 2003 Mr Scriven had to undergo surgery to have a metal rod inserted into his back following a bull attack.
