TorchwoodTorchwood: Children of Earth has been put back until later in the summer. BBC America have announced that the show will begin being broadcast on the 20th July, so it should be expected at the same time or very close to that date.

But the good news is producer Russell T Davies told reporters at last nights screening of Children of Earth at the National Film Theatre that season four is “ready to go”.

The preview screening of episode one of Children of Earth was followed by a Q&A session with Davies, and he revealed that they were ready to produce season four as soon as they get the green light from the BBC. That, he said will depend on the success of Children of Earth.

Davies also explained that he hoped to have more cross overs with Torchwood‘s parent show Doctor Who in the future, and also revealed that the Doctor is mentioned in the final episode of Children of Earth.
