Liam Neeson Leads The A-Team

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace star Liam Neeson has been confirmed as the new Col. John ‘Hannibal’ Smith in the forthcoming and long awaited A-Team movie.

The part has drawn lots of speculation for years, with names like Mel Gibson and George Clooney often tossed around. Neeson makes for quite a surprising choice, his interpretation of the part is likely to be light years away from George Peppard’s original version of the fugitive mercenary.

Also added to the line up is The Hangover star Bradley Cooper, who is set to play Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck. In this case Bradley looks like an ideal choice to play Face, the A-team’s smoothie originally played by reality TV star Dirk Benedict.

Still no word on who will play “Howling Mad” Murdoch or B.A. Baracus. But who the hell could replace Mr T?
