Prisoner sues over 55 hour erection

An ex-prisoner is suing a New York prison nurse who gave him a painful 55 hour erection and refused to treat him for it.

43 year old Dawud Yaduallah, who changed his name from David Hanley is a career criminal who was locked up in the Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill for assault. He claims that in March 2006 the facility nurse, called Nurse Lovelace increased his anti-psychosis medication by 25% and the side effect was a raging hard-on for 55 hours.

Yaduallah claims he returned to the prison infirmary where Nurse Lovelace just told him to put some ice on it. Due to his prolonged erection Yaduallah says he now suffers from erectile dysfunction, inability to ejaculate and pain during sexual intercourse. The court papers describe it as severe damage to the penis.

He is suing Lovelace directly for cruel and uncivilized conduct. The 65 year old ex-nurse retired in 2007 and was unavailable for comment.
