Schwarzenegger Lined Up For Predator Sequel

Since Robert Rodriguez was linked to a new Predator film the question has been will it be a remake/reboot or sequel?

Well MovieHole are reporting that the film will be a sequel and on top of that Arnold Schwarzenegger will be asked to reprise his role as Dutch, from the first movie.

Rodriguez had already written a script for the movie years ago, with a concept of Predators tipping the hat to Cameron’s Aliens. The script is being rewritten, but apparently Schwarzenegger’s character Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer is included in the rewrite. A source at Troublemaker studios has revealed that Dutch won’t be the main character in the movie but he is in it. Governor Schwarzenegger has just appeared in Terminator: Salvation in a cameo capacity so it would seem his appearance in Predators is a possibility if Rodriguez can convince him.
