The award winning Halloween horror attraction, Farmaggedon is recruiting for it’s “Army of Darkness”.
Volunteers are wanted to play zombies, vampires, werewolves and a whole host of gruesome ghouls as part of Farmaggedons haunted house attractions this Halloween period.
Farmaggedon is situated between Ormskirk and Formby in Lancashire at Farmer Ted’s Farm Park. For most of the year the site is a working farm, plus an interactive activity park for children. But as winter draws in and Halloween arrives the site becomes the home of Farmaggedon, an award winning and awesome haunted house spectacular that promises ghosts and gremlins and a variety of freak acts. Now in it’s third year, Farmaggedon is becoming hugely popular and volunteers are desperately needed to help produce the attraction, whilst having plenty of fun.
Organiser Richard Cottier, AKA Dark Lord specifically requires stage make-up artists (training can be given), set construction artists, freak acts, zombies, vampires, werewolves and Emos. Doubt there’ll be a shortage of Emos.
If you think you can help the Dark Lord out, or you fancy being a werewolf for a few nights, you need to be aged over 18 and willing to commit to at least five nights performing/assisting. The auditions are being held at Farmer Ted’s on Sunday 7th June in the afternoon, there’s more details on their website or you can e-mail the Dark Lord directly at darklord@farmaggedon.co.uk
For the rest of you normal folk, tickets for Farmaggedon will go on sale at the beginning of next month and the show will run from 8th October till 1st November, at weekend nights until 22:00. Get your tickets early as this year promises to be a huge hit.
