13-year-old engages in murder and necrophilia

A 13 year old boy in the Haizhu district of South China’s Guangzhou province has allegedly murdered a three year old child and raped the corpse.

The boy must remain nameless due to his age, and may also walk free as he is too young to be charged under Chinese law. In China no one under 14 can be charged with a criminal offence, the family of the dead three year old girl may be compensated for their loss but the murderous necrophiliac may walk free from prosecution.

On 19th May the boy is alleged to have spotted the three year old Wang Xiaoyi playing near his home, he grabbed the child and took her to his home where his parents were out. He then bound the little girl’s hands and feet and drowned her in a basin. Once dead the teenager raped the girl’s corpse and then tossed the body out of his fifth floor apartment window.

“My daughter had gone out to play at about 5 pm on May 19, but when she didn’t return till dark, we got worried. We went out to search for her, and at about 8 pm we noticed police barricades near an apartment building nearby,” the girl’s father told local press.

A postmortem examination revealed that the infant had been sexually abused after she was killed, the teenager has confessed to everything and is being held by the police under interrogation. But unless a change is made in the law he will walk free.
