Tomb Raider Prequel Movie

Speaking at the premier of Terminator Salvation this week, producer Dan Lin told About.com that he will be working on a “reboot” of Tomb Raider.

When asked about his involvement in a new Lara Croft film he gave this reply:

“Yeah, we’re rebooting Lara Croft as well. Really excited – it’s a great origin story that we’re going to tell. A very character-oriented I would say more realistic than the past Lara Croft movies.”

The film will be a prequel, and Angelina Jolie will not be returning as the plan is to cast a younger Lara. Lin explained that he was aiming for “character-driven action” in a similar style to his latest picture, Terminator Salvation.
