Piping The Truth Into Your Brainballs!

In a recent interview with Radio 1’s Edith Bowman Steve Coogan has revealed plans are underway for an Alan Partridge feature film.
Coogan has been pretty busy, he finished a huge theatre tour at the end of last year which had mixed reviews and is currently featuring in the box office smash Night at the Museum 2 alongside Ben Stiller. One thing that was clear from last years live performances was that Partridge is still Coogan’s best material and still hugely popular. Popular enough for people to sit through about 45 minutes of crap until he eventually appeared, but is he popular enough for an entire feature length film?
Here’s what he had to say to Edith Bowman:
“Yeah, we are planning on making a movie. We’re talking at the moment. What it is we’re not quite sure, but yes, there are plans afoot to make a film.”
Partridge first appeared on Radio 4’s On The Hour, which transferred to the TV as The Day Today.
