Father Who Ate Sons Eyeball May Be Schizophrenic

A personal acquaintance of eyeball munching fiend Angelo Mendoza has told TurnTo23.com that he believes Mendoza is a paranoid schizophrenic and not a PCP addict.

Angelo Mendoza Snr was arrested last month for blinding his four year old son Angelo Jr by biting out his eyeballs and eating them, Angelo Snr then tried to chop off his own legs with an axe. Police believe Mendoza was under the influence of drugs, namely PCP or Angel Dust as it is sometimes known. But Artie Gray who claims to be a friend of Angelo Mendoza Snr says that Mendoza has been drug free for some years now and is actually very anti-drugs.

Mendoza has however been suffering from post traumatic stress disorder following a knife attack a few years ago which left him paralysed and confined to a wheelchair.

“Second hand, I have information that he was not taking his medication, which does not justify for what he did, but the Angelo I know, it was like a monster climbed inside of him,” Gray said.

Young Angelo Jr is still being cared for by Child Protection Services, Mendoza Snr is due to appear in court for a pretrial hearing on Tuesday (26th May).
