White Lies have told fans not to expect any new material from them until at least next year.
The band, who’s current album To Lose My Life topped the British album charts on it’s release back in January are currently too busy with their touring schedule to write any new songs.
Lead singer Harry McVeigh explained, “Me and Charles Cave, the bassist, when we start writing the very basics of a song we need to be in the comfort of my home.
“Unfortunately we are very, very busy touring a lot this year. We’re not a band who can write on the road. In early 2010 I think we’ll try and get back into my house and sit at my keyboard and write some new stuff.”
The band release their next singe, Death on Monday 22nd June.
And you can catch White Lies on the road this summer when they play a selection of festival dates including Reading and Leeds, T in the Park and as previously reported Latitude in July.
